Whether it’s the classic ferris wheel or a ride like the Orbiter, fair goers all have great things to say about rides this year at the Big Fresno Fair. Although there is very little change in selection, the Fresno Fair has many exciting rides! And even if you aren’t a ride goer, there are still some that stand out, thanks to the brilliant neon light show the rides give off at night.
The Super Shot Drop Tower: A classic at the fair for sure. This ride takes you almost 90 feet in the air and then gives the ride goer an accelerated plunge you to the bottom! With 12 passenger capabilities you’ll be able to ride it with all your friends or make some new ones on the ride itself!
The Wave Swinger: A ride that is both tasteful and fun to be on. Combining a traditional swing ride, brilliant artwork, and amazing neon lights; the Wave Slinger is as much fun to ride as it is to look at. With tons of seating the whole family can ride this one together, right after they finish taking pictures of it.
Footloose: A mechanical marvel that screams fun. This ride uses two gigantic mechanical arms swinging counter clockwise to one another and eventually swinging the passengers upside down!
The Zipper: A thrill for the individual. This ride places people in cages that spin along a track on the ride while the ride itself moves. With great lighting and two people per cage,
you and that special somebody can make a great memory while having a ton of fun.
The Ring of Fire: A fun ride that has a lot of Johnny Cash jokes in the papers. This ride uses a train full of people, and a circular track, to cause massive amounts of awesome. Taking people to the tippy top, then descending backwards at incredible speeds, The Ring of Fire provides more than a good time for the thrill seeker.
Music Express: An amazingly entertaining ride that answers the question; what would it be like if I could ride music? With great lights, music, and scenery this ride takes you in a multitude of directions, while providing the rider with a completely new experience. This  new edition to the fair is definitely a crowd pleaser.
The Starship 3000: An amazing scientific experience and a classic ride at the Fresno Fair. The Starship 3000 spins rapidly as centrifugal force pushes the thrill seeker to the walls of the ride and gives them the feeling of weightlessness while feeling the intense gravitational pull. A must see and definitely
a must ride at the Fresno Fair.
