“Struck By lightning” is a coming of age comedy. Chris Colfer plays Carson Phillips, who was struck by a bolt of lightning. Colfer was originally from Clovis.
The movie tells a story of a young boy who died from a lightning strike. More commonly known from the show “Glee”, Colfer has made a lasting mark and impression on the people able to see his performance.
As the first show for Wednesday’s opening night, “Struck by Lightning” has tear jerking scenes that make you want to hug the person in the seat next to you. Although sure enough without delay you will be reminded you are still in Fresno and will not actually hug people sitting next to you.
For the public, nothing describes the valley homosexuals better than an over dramatic LGBT individual, as opposed to a soft collected man. This film can influence others to keep through the struggle and work through their problems with a sense of flair and if style.
The festival’s first film was very fun and enjoyable for the community. It is interesting how this movie was able to keep up with modern day problems of sadness and flip it into a funny angle to entertain audiences. People leisurely gathered afterword for a conversation about their enjoyment of the film.
