Interested in Theater? Here’s How to Audition for ‘Silent Sky’ and ‘American Idiot’

Auditions for the play “Silent Sky” and the musical “American Idiot” will be held on Aug. 21-22 at the Fresno City College Theatre Arts Building.
Students who want to audition for “Silent Sky” must prepare a one minute monologue. Auditions are held on Aug. 21 and 22 at 4 p.m. in TA-105.
“Silent Sky” callbacks will be held on Aug. 27 and performances for the show are at the Studio Theatre on Nov. 11, 13, 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 12, 17 and 18 at 2:30 p.m.
Students auditioning for “American Idiot” must prepare a one minute monologue and a one-to two-minute song.
Auditions for the musical begin on Monday Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. and continue on Aug. 22 at 5 p.m. Callbacks will also be on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Mainstage Theatre.
Performances for “American Idiot” will be held on Oct. 6-14.
