Fresno City College’s main campus is home to many choices for food, such as the Primo Nosh Food Court, vending machines and the Ram Pantry. This gives a wide variety of options for students and staff to choose from without having to leave campus.
The Primo Nosh Food Court in the cafeteria has plenty to choose from. Whether students are craving a small snack or a full meal, the food court is most likely to have something appetizing.
“I will say the campus cafeteria does have some pretty good food. I enjoy their salads most of the time, and the breakfast and asada burritos from the cafeteria,” child development major Arianna Bell said.
Every week Monday through Thursday, food trucks featuring all kinds of cuisine set up shop around the large fountain for FCC students.
“I haven’t seen it as of late, but I’m a really big fan of Anita. It’s great value, and I’m a really big fan of their black Filipino cuisine,” computer science major José Prieto said.
The food trucks on campus aren’t always the same and there’s always different kinds of cuisine.
“The best kinds of places to eat on campus are the trucks with boba tea or any kind of truck with Korean corn dogs. Any place that sells sushi, because it’s pretty good and it’s cool that this campus offers the opportunity to buy sushi,” music theory major David Rodriguez said.
FCC is only a walking distance from the Tower District, with restaurants for students who want a break from on campus cuisine.
“The best place to eat around here is Tower Tea. It’s a bit higher in the price range, but man, they’ve got some really good food, and they do a really good job at making those steaks there. My personal go to is a pomegranate boba and the steak teriyaki bowl,” Prieto said.
For those who don’t want to walk as far as Tower District there are plenty of places to eat even closer to campus.
“A place I feel like that’s pretty good off campus is the Wendy’s that’s nearby. You can get bacon burgers, you can get bacon fries. It’s a pretty convenient spot for some heavy, hearty burger food near campus,” Rodriguez said.
