A Fresno City College student was suspended on Wednesday for the remainder of the spring semester, after making a threat on Facebook.
The student is not allowed to come to campus or any other State Center Community College District property as well.
According to The Fresno Bee, spokeswoman Cris Monahan Bremer said FCC also received an anonymous call expressing concerns for campus and students’ safety.
Interim President Tony Cantu informed FCC faculty and staff about a possible threat via e-mail Wednesday afternoon.
“The SCCCD Police is working closely with the Fresno Police Department to ensure the safety of everyone on campus,” Cantu said in his message.
