A 20-year-old male Fresno City College student was hit by a car today around 2 p.m. while crossing the street at East McKinley Avenue and North San Pablo Avenue.
According to police, the student was hit on the leg and was carried away in an ambulance. The injury is non-life-threatening. Police added that another student was almost hit while they were investigating at the scene.
The driver was questioned and released.
FCC student Jacob Ellis witnessed the accident.
“How many injuries does it take before they put lights on this street?” said Ellis. “It’s only a matter of time before it happens again.”
