Two males are dead and one female is in critical condition after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning at the 1400 block of Maroa Ave.
The woman was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
Sergeant John Jensen of the Fresno Police Department said, “Police responded at approximately 2:30 p.m.”
No names are being released at this time.
Jensen said, “Unfortunately, They had utilized a large generator indoors without ventilation and in doing so sometime over the night they were overcome by the fumes.”
Fresno Fire Department Public Information Officer, Koby Johns, said the men were using the generator to power the whole building.
“Both men succumbed to elevated levels of carbon monoxide,” said Johns. “The warehouse still had elevated Carbon monoxide levels even after 30 minutes of natural ventilation.”
Johns said, “The men appeared to have been dead for five or six hours.”
