Police: Man Pulls Gun on Victim at Fresno City College Parking Lot
A suspect is at large and an investigation is underway after police say a man pulled a gun on a victim at Fresno City College on Wednesday.
According to a notice from the State Center Community College District Police Department, at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 27, a victim, who is not identified, was walking in parking lot A on campus when a man in a white vehicle drove up and revealed a firearm.
Police say the man in the vehicle called the victim over to his car so “they could talk”.
The victim did manage to quickly leave the area without additional contact with the suspect; the suspect was later seen leaving the campus.
Police provided an image of the man they believe to be involved. He is described as a black male in his 20s, 5 feet, 8 inches with medium build.
“Due to this crime occurring on the [FCC] campus, there is concern for the safety and welfare of the students,” according to the notice sent out.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the district police at 559-244-5911.
