It’s not clear whether a Fresno City College student who crashed into three cars Monday will be cited.

The accident occurred around 2 p.m. in parking lot E near the Math, Science and Engineering Building after student Jesus Anguiano reportedly crashed into three parked cars.

Students who saw the accident say Anguiano was speeding in the parking lot, and lost control of his Honda Civic when he was making a turn.

Celeste Dominguez witnessed the accident and said the accident caused a chain reaction.

“He [Anguiano] came down the first aisle, he kept going around the bend super-fast and his car fishtailed,” Dominguez said.

Gabriel Dominguez also saw the accident and claims Anguiano was speeding in the parking lot.

“He was driving around here [the turn], and then stepped on the gas, lost control and hit three cars,” he said.

After hitting the cars, Anguiano drove to the corner of the parking lot near the railroad crossing on McKinley and called security.

Christopher Neil, a parking control officer at FCC said that he heard witnesses say that Anguiano claimed he was backing up when the accident occurred. Anguiano did not comment.

Fresno Police Department and District Police officers responded to the scene but they did not provide a comment.
