Man Allegedly Exposes Himself in Front of Library

A man allegedly exposed himself and “performed a lewd act” in front of a student on March 1 in front of the Fresno City College Library, according to campus police.

Around 8 p.m., the student was approached by the man while he sat alone in the smoking area known as the East Pit.  The suspect then exposed his genitals, police said. When the student confronted the man, he fled the scene.

He was described as Hispanic, 5 foot 8 inches and 160 pounds. He was wearing an orange jacket and gray shorts, and appeared to have a limp, police said.

On Feb. 22, a man reportedly groped a woman inside the library, but police said due to lack of evidence, he was released.

Police want to remind students to avoid being alone, especially at night. They also ask that anyone with information come forward and call the police department at 559-244-5911.
