Water Leak Affects South End of Campus
A water leak on Oct. 25 caused a shutdown of chilled water inside the Math, Science and Engineering, Language Arts, Library and Media Center and Faculty Office buildings while crews attempted a fix, said Leroy Bib, the director of maintenance and operations for the State Center Community College District.
The leak was detected in the chilled water line beside the Language Arts building, and crews dug up lines there hoping to prevent chilled water loss to the rest of the campus.
It is not known when the work will be done, but Bib says it is possible by the end of the day.
It is not clear what caused the leak.
