Life is Too Busy For Bad Coffee
Like almost everybody, I like to wake up and get my day started with a cup of coffee.
My two choices that I question getting are always Starbucks or Dutch Bros. The real question is which one is better and why?
We both prefer Dutch Bros over Starbucks.
They have a nicer staff that carry conversations while you are waiting for your order to be ready, and you don’t wait as long in line.
Dutch Bros also offers sticker covers so you don’t spill a drink in your car unlike Starbucks.
We believe Dutch Bros has a wider variety of drink options to choose from. Their drinks range from coffee, tea, lemonade, and carbonated water; any of which you can get iced, hot, or blended.
You can also add a few different flavors into any drink you want if they don’t already have it as a combo. Adding extra toppings such as whip cream can add up to more than the original price at Starbucks.
When it comes to reward systems, at Dutch Bros, you get five points for every $1 you spend.
Once you reach 250 points then you can redeem a medium drink of your choice, then once you reach 325 points then you can redeem an unlimited (size of your choice) drink of your choice.
Whereas with Starbucks you get one point for every $1 you spend, which can take quite some time to accumulate the 150 points you need for a free drink.
FCC student and Dutch Bros fan Alexis Garcia said, “I like the customer service and how they are nice and friendly by handing out new stickers every month.”
Food differences can be drastic when it comes to how hungry you are. Starbucks can be your best bet with foods ranging from protein boxes, sandwiches, oatmeal, and baked goods.
Although Dutch Bros may have a small selection of baked goods, their options range from chocolate chip, lemon, and orange cranberry muffin tops to their granola bar.
