The Fresno City College women’s basketball team outplayed the Taft cougars and came away with a 93-56 win Wednesday night. In the first half the Rams had a difficult time making their layups and keeping control of the ball. Despite their struggles, the Rams stayed composed and changed the game in the second half. They came out defensively sound and kept control of the ball. The offense also clicked as the Rams converted layups and 3-point shots. The Rams made 3-pointers in all and shot 50 percent for the game.
Sarina Sayama was the game’s leading scorer with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Karissa Booker also contributed with 12 points. The Rams are currently No.1 in the Central Valley Conference and No.7 in the state.
