With a 19-10 record, the Fresno City College baseball team is currently in a tight race for the Central Valley Conference title.
The Rams have received major contributions from pitcher Drew Merlo who leads the CVC with an earn run average of 1.78. Merlo’s 58 strikeouts are also the most in the conference.
Pitcher James Barger has also contributed to the Rams success with seven saves recorded so far.
Meanwhile, the Rams’ hitting has received a major boost thanks to Jack Karraker and Bryce Barger.
Karraker has recorded 23 runs batted in while Barger has 22 runs batted in. Most recently the Rams completed a sweep of Porterville.
The first round of the NorCal playoffs will begin on May 4.
