Alyssa Bustamante, Business Manager
Alyssa Bustamante is the Business Manager for The Rampage for Spring 2025 and was a reporter last semester. This is her last year at Fresno City College and she hopes to graduate in June. Her major is currently journalism, but she is debating on changing it once she goes to Fresno State. Since working with The Rampage she is torn on her career path. One possibility for her is to work as a public administrator for Fresno County. The other option would be to work as an anchor woman for ABC30 and eventually move up to KRON4 morning news.
Alyssa is 28 years old and was born in Fresno but raised in San Jose. She is super passionate about the Bay Area and says she misses her city but loves the opportunities being in Fresno has brought her. When she isn’t working, going to school, or helping with the business management of The Rampage, she loves anything Disney and enjoys going to Disneyland with her Husband Joe.
Her attitude towards life is that no one will hand her anything so she is a go-getter and a firm believer in hard work. She sees what others would call an impossible obstacle as a challenge to success. Her biggest goal in writing for The Rampage is to strive to put out stories worth reading, inspire future journalists and make money for the publication. She attributes a lot of her success in college and life to her mom who has helped push her to keep going to school no matter how hard it got and she is excited to graduate for her. As for her success in life she attributes that to her family and parents who have raised her to love God and put family first and never stop trying.
