Alyx Soluna

Alyx Soluna, Reporter

Alyxandria “Alyx (like with a y)” Soluna (they/she) is a spry and youthful 21(+6) year-old originally from the metropolis utopia known as Caruthers but is currently living in Fresno and is a student at Fresno City College. She previously attended FCC as an English major from 2015 to 2019 but took a break and is in her second semester returning as a photography major.

Alyx is an extremely worldly individual with such groundbreaking hobbies like playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music. As these are all very obscure and unique interests, it’s not uncommon to have no idea what any of them are about which truly goes to show how interesting she is as an individual.

In addition, Alyx is an avid “funny voice maker” and can do riveting impersonations of some of the greatest figures in history like Hank Hill from “King of the Hill” and Viktor from “Arcane.” Another interesting fact about Alyx is that she used to compete semi-professionally in fighting games like “Street Fighter,” “Tekken,” and “Injustice” and would often do voice commentary for and organize events in the Fresno area as well as online.

She was even the first person in the world to achieve master rank, the highest ranking, in 2023’s “Street Fighter 6” with the “random character select” option which is sure to impress every individual reading this.

While she obviously has absolutely zero credible experience working in a journalistic environment, she quite clearly brings and professional demeanor that comes off as very cutesy and very demure that will lend to breakthroughs for journalists everywhere around the world.
