Christo Wiehl is an 18-year-old Fresno City College student in his first semester with The Rampage as a reporter. Born and raised in Fresno, Christo graduated from Bullard High School and is majoring in journalism to pursue his dream of becoming a sports broadcaster. He took two journalism classes in his first semester at FCC including a newswriting class where he wrote a variety of articles and learned all about The Rampage. His passion for journalism thrives from his love of sports writing. Christo is also a member of the FCC Men’s Tennis team. His love of sports comes from his dad who played basketball at UCLA. Some other interesting facts about Christo is that he lived in France for a year when he was six years old. He also spent all of elementary school and middle school at a small private school where his 8th grade year was cut short due to COVID.
