Nate Rodriguez made his way onto the scene on May 16, 2000 in Twentynine Palms, California. Born to a Marine Corps father and a retail worker mother, he has made a home in highly coveted towns such as Stockton and Fresno – the heart and soul of this great state. 

While living in the safety and comfort of Stockton, Nate discovered the first of his many true loves – cinema. Star Wars opened many doors for him, and in many instances, spoke on his behalf. 

To this day, he is still a student of cinema, always on the lookout to find new favorites. His heroes being George Lucas, Martin Socrsese, Steven Spielberg, and Francis Ford Coppola. 

Though his experience in news writing is minimal to none, he seeks to improve on his craft. He is more of a screenwriter, often spending his time jotting down ideas for movies he wants to see. As of the writing of this, he is currently working on his first feature script. 

As mentioned earlier, Nate has many muses. Another muse is hard rock/heavy metal music – a dedicated fan of bands such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Guns ‘N Roses, Motörhead, and too many others to mention. He might as well live at the record store, amassing a collection of 36 albums. 

All in all, Nate wants to leverage this opportunity to expand his skills as a writer and improve at his chosen craft – a craft he did not choose, per say, but a craft that chose him.
