Pamela Martinez is a 24-year-old journalism major from Kerman, California with a deep passion for music and journalism. This is her second semester at Fresno City College and she hopes to transfer to Fresno State to obtain a degree in Journalism.

From a young age, Pamela always knew that she had a love for music. She grew up in a family who not only appreciated the music but engaged in it. It was only a matter of time before she decided to pick up an instrument which led her to play an assortment from elementary school all the way throughout highschool. However, somewhere in the midst of all the music she found her love for writing.

As a child, her strongest subject in school was always writing. At the age of 14, she began writing short stories on an app called Wattpad which gained thousands of reads which encouraged her to take writing seriously. One day she hopes to be a novelist, but for right now her main focus is to become a music journalist who interviews bands and musicians of all genres.

When she’s not going to concerts or writing, you can find her playing video games. She plays many video games including Stardew Valley, Dead by Daylight, and League of Legends. She believes video games are a great way to spend time with friends and unwind. Some more hobbies include watching horror movies and doing special effects makeup. She also loves to travel the country with her boyfriend Hunter and her 8-year-old Shih-Tzu named baby.
