Tere Joyce Randolph is a returning student to Fresno City College after 40 years. She first attended FCC between the years of 1981-1983 and was a Theater Arts major.
In fact, she landed a starring role in a FCC production in the first semester of her freshman year. She played Laura in the Glass Menagerie directed by Tom Wright.
While in college she also performed in several of Roger Rocka’s Good Company Players with roles in The Sound of Music, Gypsy, and Vanities.
In 1984, she left Fresno City College to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After a one year stint at AADA, she discovered the world of stand-comedy.
Tere became a professional stand-up comedian and toured throughout the United States and Canada for more than 25 years.
In 2003, Tere Joyce became a top ten finalist on the first season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and also returned and competed in season three.
In 2010, Tere started working in online radio and hosted her own show on New Dissident Radio, Time 4 Hemp Network, Revolution Radio, and American Freedom Radio. She currently, has her own podcast, blog, and live-streams regularly on YouTube.
The radio shows and blogging, inspired Tere to go back to college and change her major to journalism, and she is excited to have the opportunity to contribute to The Rampage.
This semester she is also a ETC student leader. ETC is an acronym for Extending the Class. She is currently tutoring Anthro 1.
