Cesar Espinosa, Reporter
Cesar Espinosa was born Nov. 27, 2003. He grew up in Sanger, California and has lived there his entire life.
He is very self conscious and often keeps to himself. But while he isn’t the most outspoken person in the world, Espinosa is very passionate about the things he is interested in such as Journalism, exercise, family and music.
His favorite hobbies are playing guitar and listening to music. Learning to play guitar is one of his proudest achievements. It taught him a valuable lesson about effort, determination and the importance of practice. Some of his favorite musical artists include Pink Floyd, Metallica, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Michael Jackson.
Film also plays a big part in his life. Movies and shows are a way to escape for Espinosa. His favorite movies are Back to the Future, Superbad and anything directed by Quentin Tarantino. Though he isn’t interested in becoming a film maker or writer, Espinosa is fascinated by the world of cinema.
Espinosa took three years of Journalism in high school. He was the opinions editor for Sanger Hilights for two years. Working with hilights fostered his love for Journalism and encouraged him to learn more about it.
Family and friends are some of the most important things in Espinosa’s life. The loss of his friend Allison Chang taught him to cherish every moment he spends with those closest to him. He is always trying to live in the moment because you never know when the people you love most will be gone.
