Felipe Medina, Reporter
Felipe De Jesus Medina Jimenez is a 19-year-old who is born and raised in Fresno California currently majoring in journalism at Fresno City College.
He was the captain of the debate team in high school where they placed in the state tournament several times.
Felipe enjoys making short films with his friends where he is involved in all areas of production including video editing, screenwriting, and even acting. He aspires to one day hopefully document the truth through films.
He has played soccer since he was six years old and plays basketball for fun in the afternoons with friends. He also enjoys swimming and going on trips to the mountains with friends.
Felipe speaks English, Spanish, and French which he picked up in his free time. Though he enjoys going out, he mostly finds himself indoors playing video games or catching up on tv shows or movies. His favorite movie is Run Boy Run a film that takes place during WWII.
He lives by the golden rule that you should treat others with compassion and kindness just how you would want to be treated. Felipe believes that being informed and educated go hand and hand.
