Ricardo A. Reyna, Editor-in-Chief
Ricardo A. Reyna is Journalism major at Fresno City College whose list of titles include student journalist/ reporter, photographer, editor, audio engineer and community advocate. Born in Fresno, California in 1995, he has written and edited for multiple publications in the state of California and has been involved in the field of journalism since 2015. He has served on the ABC30 Youth Advisory Council as well as worked with community organizations such as The kNOw Youth Media, Youth Leadership Institute, The Fresno Boys & Men of Color, Women Empowered and The California Endowment.
Ricardo is a heavy advocate for music making and the expression that comes along with it as well as record store shopping and keeping the tradition of “crate digging” for vinyl records alive. His love for music making and storytelling was what originally drove him into the field of journalism where it has evolved into a career path for him.
He hopes to graduate from Fresno City College with a Degree in Arts for Transfer in Journalism and move onto California State University, Fresno where he can continue his career in writing.
One of Ricardo’s passions is showing people the love and fulfillment that journalism can provide and how it can be a powerful tool used for good by helping give a voice to those who have not yet discovered their own.
